My philosophy as coach is that competition strengthens character by encouraging good sportsmanship, integrity, solid work ethic, fundamentals, dignity and respect for others. If students can learn how to deal with the challenges of winning and or losing in a safe, fun environment, maybe, just maybe it will help prepare them for their future in a very demanding and competitive society in which we currently live. I belief sports can be designed to teach our students essential life lessons through competition.
